Our Easter themed challenge is beginning today over at Kitty Bee’s Aloha Friday Challenge. We were sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamp Outlet for this challenge; I chose Easter Bouquet by Stitchy Stamps because the daffodils and hidden eggs are exactly what I hope to see on Easter morning!
I coloured the flowers with Pro-Markers, but faux paper pieced the eggs to draw in some of the other colours from the paper stack (Harper Finch’s It’s Easter Solids) that I used for the mats and frames.
The layout is based around the current sketch over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2, and I’ll be hopping over there later today to link up to the challenge!
