Happy Days!

I grew up watching the Fonz and Happy Days, so it was no surprise that I couldn’t resist the Papermania Happy Days Collection…especially as it was reduced!!

The papers on this card are all from the stack, with a little added Kraft for contrast.  I printed the sentiment banner directly onto the Kraft and skewed the banner slightly to avoid looking like I’d tried to cross out the cars behind it!

And that was pretty much that!!  As you can see, this card is headed to France for a birthday, so I’d better hop off down to the Post Office pronto!!

Future Rock Star!!

Here’s a birthday card I’ve made for a young boy, which is based on the current sketch over at Sketch ‘n’ Stash.

The image is from All Dressed Up; I’ve had it lurking on my desk, uncoloured for a while now, so it was good to finally get around to giving him some colour and pop him on a card!!

I’ve coloured him using Pro-Markers, then created some mats using cardstock embossed with two different folders.  I was very lucky to spot a bargain American Crafts cardstock pack in Home Sense earlier this week – it’s lovely cardstock to work with!  The chequered mat is a snippet from the Papermania Happy Days stack.

Finally, I punched six small stars, glued them in a stack and dabbed a little Brilliance ink directly onto them.

GDT With Love To Scrap

Earlier this month, I posted my first GDT post with Love To Scrap, and promised you more soon.  Well, today’s the day!  I’m back with my second Guest Designer post 🙂

It’s Anything Goes for this challenge at Love To Scrap.  The sponsors for this challenge are Lawn Fawn and Stitchy Bear’s Digi Outlet; I chose to use Cat Nip Girl by Pookie Designs.

I coloured the image with ProMarkers, and used a selection of papers from the Papermania Happy Days stack for the background papers.  I kept the layout nice and simple, and decided to play along at Digi Sketch Challenge at the same time!

I’d like to thank Leslie again for inviting me to join her team as a GDT for May – it’s been a pleasure!  Make sure you stop by Love To Scrap and take a look at the DT makes for this challenge.
